Nevv Payment Terms

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set forth the conditions for payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds in respect of the paid cloud server hosting, Dedicated Server and related add-on services provided by Nevv (the "Company").

Article 2 (Items Subject to Payment and Price Display)

  1. The items subject to payment are Server Product fees, operating system license fees (if the relevant operating system is selected), Security Zone traffic and additional traffic fees, Dedicated Server fees, and other paid add-on services separately announced by the Company. The specific price, service period and content of each product are as displayed on the payment screen or the product information screen.
  2. The product information screen displays both the amount excluding value-added tax (VAT) and the amount including VAT, and the actual payment amount is the final payment amount including VAT displayed on the order screen.

Article 3 (Payment Methods and Time of Formation)

  1. Members may pay using the electronic payment methods displayed in the payment window provided by the Company. Payment method information such as card numbers is processed by the payment service provider, and the Company does not store it.
  2. A payment contract is formed when the Member has confirmed the order details and completed payment, and approval by the Company or the payment service provider has also been completed.
  3. An order for which payment is not confirmed within 1 hour after the payment window is opened is processed as "Expired". If it is confirmed that payment was actually made, the order is processed as paid.
  4. The Company may withhold payment approval or cancel an order where there are grounds such as the detection of abnormal transactions, errors in payment information or the need for operational review.
  5. Prices, product composition, discount conditions, service periods and promotional benefits apply as displayed on the screen at the time of payment, and the Company may change them after giving prior notice. Price changes apply to new orders and renewal payments made after the change.
  6. Dedicated Servers are paid for in the amount and by the method the Company provided in its reply to the purchase inquiry.

Article 4 (Provisioning and Commencement of Use)

  1. Even after payment has been completed, server provisioning proceeds sequentially depending on system processing, stock availability and verification procedures.
  2. Use of the Service is deemed to have commenced when the Member is given server identification information or the server becomes actually usable.
  3. After the commencement of use, use may be deemed to have started if resources have been reserved, configured or allocated, even if the Member has not actually accessed the server.

Article 5 (Renewal Method)

  1. Currently, all of the Company's Server Products are of the manual renewal type. Members must select a renewal period (a period displayed on the screen, such as 30, 60 or 90 days) in the Management Console and make the payment themselves before the expiry date, and once payment is completed, the service period is extended immediately.
  2. The Company notifies Members of the upcoming expiry by email to the address registered by the Member 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before expiry. However, this is for convenience only, and the expiry date does not change even if the notice is not received.
  3. If the Company introduces automatic renewal (recurring payment) products, it will clearly indicate this on the payment screen of such products and notify Members of the scheduled renewal date, the renewal amount, the content of the services being renewed and how to stop automatic renewal at least 7 days before the renewal payment date, and Members may stop automatic renewal at any time before the next renewal date.

Article 6 (Renewal and Non-payment)

  1. Fixed-term products may continue to be used only if the renewal payment is completed before the expiry date.
  2. If the Member does not complete payment within the deadline, the service may be suspended or terminated, and data retention or recovery after termination is not guaranteed.
  3. If non-payment continues or payment failures recur, the Company may restrict use of the service and cancel the related orders without separate demand.

Article 7 (Withdrawal of Subscription, Outage Compensation and Refunds)

  1. A server is a service that is automatically provisioned once payment is completed, and its provision begins immediately. Accordingly, after payment is completed, withdrawal of subscription is restricted under Article 17, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 5 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률), and no refunds are given for reasons on the Member's side, such as a simple change of mind or a change of usage plans. The Company displays this fact on the order screen and immediately before payment, and obtains the Member's consent.
  2. If a server cannot be provisioned for reasons on the Company's side after payment, the full payment amount will be refunded. If the service provided differs from what was displayed, advertised or contracted, Article 17, Paragraph 3 of the same Act applies.
  3. If, for reasons attributable to the Company, the server remains inaccessible for 12 or more consecutive hours, or for a cumulative total of 24 hours or more within one payment period, the Company will compensate by extending the service period by the length of time the server was inaccessible (periods of less than 1 day are rounded up to 1 day). Compensation is provided only by extending the service period and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
  4. Only where, for reasons attributable to the Company, the server remains inaccessible for 72 or more consecutive hours may the Member request a refund of the amount corresponding to the remaining service period. The remaining period is calculated in days, and periods extended free of charge through compensation, events, etc., traffic already used and operating system license fees are not included in the refund.
  5. A refund cannot be requested again on the grounds of an outage for which compensation under Paragraph 3 has been received.
  6. Requests for compensation or refunds must be made through the customer support channels within 30 days from the date on which the outage occurred.
  7. Once a refund is confirmed, the server concerned is terminated immediately, and the data on the server will not be recovered. Members must back up any necessary data themselves before requesting a refund.
  8. This Article and Article 8 apply equally to renewal payments and additional traffic payments.
  9. During the refund review, the Company may check the order history, usage history, logs, whether the server was provisioned, whether resources were occupied, whether there were abnormal transactions, etc., and may request the submission of additional materials if necessary.
  10. Once a refund is confirmed, as a rule the Company will proceed with the refund procedure within 3 business days from the date on which the reason for the refund is confirmed. However, this period may be extended where the processing procedures of the payment service provider or financial institutions or the verification of additional documents are required, in which case the Company will inform the Member of the reason for the delay and the expected processing deadline.
  11. A Dedicated Server is deemed to have begun being provided when the Company completes the setup and delivers the connection information, and thereafter, as in Paragraph 1, no refunds are given for reasons on the Member's side, such as a simple change of mind or a change of usage plans. Setup fees are not refunded once setup has begun. If anything is separately specified in the quote or conditions provided for the Dedicated Server, that applies.

Article 8 (Cases Not Eligible for Compensation or Refunds)

The cases in each of the following subparagraphs do not constitute reasons attributable to the Company and are not eligible for compensation under Article 7, Paragraph 3 or refunds under Paragraph 4 of that Article.

  1. A simple change of mind, or a change in the Member's business or operational plans
  2. Dissatisfaction with speed, latency, processing performance, etc. while the server is accessible
  3. Speed limits or latency due to exceeding the daily traffic allowance, or due to the exhaustion of traffic ordered or additionally purchased in the Security Zone
  4. Attacks by third parties, such as DDoS attacks, occurring in the General Zone (KT-A and KT-B), and blocking or restriction measures to protect the network (including the effects of attacks on other servers on the same network, but excluding cases involving willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company). The General Zone does not provide DDoS protection, and Members can select the Security Zone when ordering.
  5. Errors in the operating system, programs, firewall, access keys, etc. installed or configured by the Member, or insufficient server resources (CPU, memory, disk)
  6. Interruptions during work such as network changes, IP changes, reinstallation or rebooting performed at the Member's request
  7. Interruptions due to maintenance or work announced in advance
  8. Cases where use of the Service is restricted or the agreement is terminated for reasons attributable to the Member
  9. Portions granted or reduced through free provision, events, promotions, coupon discounts, etc.
  10. Traffic already used (Security Zone traffic and additional traffic), operating system license fees, and the costs of configuration changes (including network changes), option application and technical support carried out at the Member's request
  11. Cases where verification of the payment method holder, verification of abnormal transactions or verification of the refund account has not been completed

Article 9 (Handling of Overpayments and Erroneous Payments)

  1. If an overpayment or erroneous payment occurs, the Company will proceed with the refund procedure without delay from the date on which it is confirmed.
  2. As a rule, refunds are processed via the original payment method, and if a refund via the same method is difficult, the refund may be made by a method agreed upon with the Member.
  3. When refunding an overpayment or erroneous payment, the Company may request the submission of supporting documents to the extent necessary for identity verification and verification of the rightful claimant.

Article 10 (Tax Invoices and Supporting Documents)

The Company may operate procedures for issuing proof of payment or tax-related documents in accordance with applicable laws and Company policy, and Members must provide the necessary information accurately. If the issuance of supporting documents is delayed or impossible due to errors in the Member's information or delays in submission, the Member is responsible.

Article 11 (Discount Coupons)

  1. Members may receive a discount by entering a coupon code in the coupon field on the order screen, and the discount amount is reflected in the final payment amount shown before payment.
  2. The discount rate, validity period, eligible products and number of uses of a coupon are subject to the conditions set by the Company for each coupon, and coupons that do not meet the conditions will not be applied.
  3. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to others. When an order to which a coupon was applied is refunded, the refund amount is determined based on the amount actually paid by the Member, and the used coupon may not be reissued.
  4. The Company may cancel the discount of any coupon obtained or used by fraudulent means and claim the corresponding amount.

Article 11-2 (Add-on Services)

  1. Add-on services are task-based services that the Company provides upon receiving a Member's application, such as server setup on the Member's behalf and security checks, and the content and price of each service are displayed on the add-on services page.
  2. Add-on services are prepaid by bank transfer. When a Member applies, the Company informs the Member of the amount to be deposited and the account, and begins the work after the deposit is confirmed.
  3. The scope of work is based on the Member's application and the Company's guidance. Work beyond that scope (e.g., setting up additional plugins or mods) may be carried out for an additional fee after consultation with the Member.
  4. If the application is canceled before the work begins, the full amount paid will be refunded. After the work has begun, no refunds are given for a simple change of mind (Article 17, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 5 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.). However, for services that can be divided, such as monthly services, the portion not yet provided will be refunded, and if the Company fails to complete the promised work for reasons for which it is responsible, the uncompleted portion will be refunded.
  5. During the work, the server may be restarted or the connection may be briefly interrupted, and such interruptions are not eligible for outage compensation under Article 7. Members must back up any necessary data themselves before the work. However, the Company is liable for damage caused by its willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  6. For work that requires access to the server, the Company accesses the server only to the extent necessary for the work, and may ask the Member for a temporary account for the work. After the work is finished, it is safer for the Member to change passwords or delete the temporary account.
  7. The security check report informs the Member of the state of the server at the time of the check and of recommended actions, and does not guarantee that no intrusion will occur in the future.

Article 12 (Limitation of the Company's Liability)

Unless there is willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company is not liable for approval delays, payment failures or refund delays caused by reasons on the side of third parties such as payment service providers, financial institutions, telecommunications providers and external infrastructure providers. Even where the Company provides a refund or compensation, its scope does not exceed, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, the amount actually received for the payment concerned.

Article 13 (Payments by Minors)

  1. Persons under the age of 14 may not register as Members or make payments.
  2. If a minor Member makes a payment without the consent of a legal representative, the minor or the legal representative may cancel the payment contract in accordance with Article 5 of the Civil Act (민법). Those wishing to cancel may apply through the customer support channels, and the Company will process the request after verifying the identity of the person and of the legal representative.
  3. The Company may establish a procedure on the payment screen to check whether the Member is a minor, and may restrict payment if, as a result of the check, the Member is determined to be a minor.

Article 14 (Transmission of Marketing Information)

  1. The Company may send essential transaction-related information, such as payment notices, expiry notices and traffic usage notices, by email, in-service notifications or other methods without the Member's separate consent.
  2. The Company sends advertising information for commercial purposes, such as discounts, events and new product announcements, only if it has obtained the Member's prior consent, and Members may refuse to receive it at any time through the Management Console or the opt-out (unsubscribe) link.
  3. After a Member refuses to receive advertising information, the Company will stop sending it within the period prescribed by applicable laws.

Article 15 (Amendment of the Payment Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws, and when amending them, will give notice from 7 days before the effective date (30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to Members or material).
