FAQ
- Can I buy a domain here too?
- You need to buy a domain separately from a domain registrar. Then connect your server's IP in the domain's DNS; the website guide shows how.
- Can I use a database too?
- You can install MariaDB on the same server. The database guide explains how to use it safely without exposing it to the outside.
- What do I do when I get more visitors?
- Get a new server on a higher plan and move over. The steps are in the ‘Moving to a new server’ guide.
- Does turning off the server lower the price?
- No. Billing is in 30-day periods, so it's the same even if the server is off. If you won't use it anymore, just don't renew.
